Get ready for a day of fun in the Village of Argyle for a good cause.
The 16th Annual Carl Lufkin Memorial Pull for a Cure Charity Truck and Tractor Pull takes place on the field behind 10 Main Street on Saturday, July 19th starting at 10AM. All proceeds will go towards The Cancer Research Institute, St. Jude's Childrens Hospital and The American Cancer Society.
Spectators will be admitted for $10 per adult, $30 per carload, with children under 10 admitted for free.
The agenda includes 4 Wheel Drive Truck, Farm Tractor and Garden Tractor Pulls. In addition, kids are invited to join in on a Pedal Tractor pull and a Power Wheels pull to take place at 1PM. New for 2025 is a R/C truck and tractor pull exhibition throughout the day. Competitors will be playing for a prize pool of over $6,000 total.
Food trucks will be on hand throughout the day and vendors will be selling wares.
Interested pullers can look up the classes and rules on the Pull for a Cure Facebook page. Vendors can reach out to Scott Lufkin by phone or e-mail to show interest on being at the event.
Over the years, the Pull for a Cure has raised nearly a quarter million dollars for the fight against cancer. While the event will be raising funds, those who cannot attend the event can also help contribute on the Facebook page.
